On our way to San Jose!

Hey everyone!!! I have some exciting news! We are going on a mission trip to San Jose!

As you can see on the picture above it is a 6 hour drive from where we are at to San Jose. 🙌 Woohoo! I am so glad we are flying out to San Jose and not driving. Lol I love driving but flying is faster.

We received the dates October 14th and returning back on 18th. Angelina and I felt led to stay in San Jose area for 5 days & 4nights.

A little of a back story on this mission trip. It was spoken over our lives that we would be going to San Jose. As missionaries we know we are sent to pray for different cities, areas and of course for people's lives. As soon as we received the word about going to San Jose we started praying into it. God has spoken to us early last month about going and that's when the planning started.

We first planned to attend a meeting in San Jose then we bought our airplane tickets. We prayed about where to stay and found a hotel on the outskirts of San Jose. It was like one thing after the other just started flowing in. Between work, house sitting and packing to move, we stayed focused on what God was speaking to us about San Jose.

I would like to express that our mission trip our funded by donations. If you would like to sow into this mission trip you can! Donation information will be at the bottom.

I would like to share more about San Jose. Honestly Im really kindled about this trip. This one feels different. I don't know how to explain but I know God is up to something.

San Jose, CA is the 3rd most populated city in California after

(LA & San Diego). It is located in the center of Santa Clara Valley. San Jose is known as a global city. It is a city of innovation, booming high-tech industry as a cultural, political and economic center that has earned the city nickname of Capital of Silicon Valley. San Jose is one of the most wealthiest major cities in the United States which explains the very high cost of living there. They do have a low poverty rate which is 11% but despite the low poverty rate and lots of education, San Jose has the fifth highest homeless population in the nation with over 7,500 homeless individuals. Wow that's a lot! Just seeing that makes me want to go over there and pray for the area. That is a ridiculous amount of people that are in the streets, in shelters, under bridges and not knowing where they're going to get their next meal. Jesus, your faithful and we are willing to go where you send us. We are the light in the darkness.

Back to more about San Jose. It is well known for business companies to have their headquarters out of San Jose. Businesses such as Apple, Cisco systems, ebay, PayPal and Samsung to name a few. Many things were invented in San Jose, such as the floppy disk, Eggo waffles, hard disk drives and The Wave (radio statio).

Facts about San Jose:

Over half of the adults in San Jose have a college degree, making it one of the most educated cities in the country.

Alum Rock Park is oldest municipal park in the entire State of California.

History about San Jose:

It was founded on November 29th 1777. There was Indians living in the area and they were called Ohlone. San Jose originally belonged to Mexico but it was ceded to U.S. in 1848. After California achieved statehood two years later, San Jose became the state's first capital. The city was in agriculture more then a hundred fifty years and grew food for the military in San Francisco and Monterey. Fruits such as prunes grapes, apricots, pears and peaches. They had so much of it that they canned it, dryed it and shipped it to other places to sell.

Now that I've been looking into San Jose Im eager to see what God is going to have us do in this city. Sometimes he will have us pray over the land. Repent for things done that were wrong or do a prophetic act to claim it for the Kingdom of God. Whatever it is we are going to be ready for it.

We have two weeks from today to raise $366 for us to go and do the will of the Father. This will help for a hotel.

If you would like to join us on this mission trip you are more then welcome. In prayer, in donation and in support. We welcome encouragement and of course prayer! We really need pray for going into new territory in a new season. We appreciate your help in fulfilling God plans for our lives.
