Hi everyone!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

I would like to share about what happened at the yard sale this weekend. I love that each time it's different and God is always teaching me something in the middle of it. For instance, a lady wanted to buy a 2019 calendar from me and I told her it was twenty five cents. She said she only had ten cents and was already handing it to me. In the middle of the conversation I asked Papa God about it and didn’t get a yes to take the ten cents. So, I reaffirmed it was twenty five cents. Then she made a face and said I can give it to you but I have to write it out. I said okay, then she just walked away then left. I honestly felt bad for a moment because it was only twenty five cents lol but I remembered Papa God said no not to accepting it. While about an hour goes by and a older gentlemen comes by and we start talking about what he does for a living after I shared with him what I did as a missionary. He looked around and seen the same calendar the lady wanted for ten cents and he said “oh, my wife would like this”. So he grabbed it and asked how much. I told him twenty five cents and he said “okay, I’ll give you a dollar for it”. I was a little shocked to be honest. I smiled and thanked him. I immediately hear Papa God say to me “no more settling for less”. I just smiled and said that’s right Papa I'm no longer settling for less. I am worthy and no matter how big or small the number I’m no longer settling for less. See I grow up in an environment that treated me like I was unworthy. I didn’t have a healthy upbringing. Now God is teaching me what I’ve learned and felt about myself for years that wasn't right . It’s tough at times because for so long I believed that I wasn’t worthy. But let me just say that God is a God of redemption! He is healing me in areas of my life that I didn’t even know that were wounded. This situation at the yard sale was a great teaching for me. Standing my ground on what God says and he will always come through. I know he is going to do this in every area of my life and he can do it in your too if you want it. He is an amazing giver, always ready to bless his children.
It was really neat how people would come in waves through out the yard sale. Five people would show up then one then none. When it was slow I would pray for God to bring the ones that needed what I had. A lady came by that worked down the street at a church. She bought a bracelet holder for the church. It made me think that blessings go in a circles. Here we are, I received a donation of a bracelet holder and here I am selling it for my missionary trips to do Kingdom business and its going back into a church. I just think that's pretty cool. Praise God!
Throughout the yard sale I shared with the customer that I was a missionary and the trips I’ve been on. Most of then were a little surprised and some were thankful for people that were willing to go out and travel to reach people's hearts. I did get to bless a lot of families as they were leaving. Another lady bought a few things for two dollars and seventy five cents, she handed me a five and said to keep it. I told her thank you so much and blessed her and her family. I also asked her if I could hug her. She smiled and said “yes”. I honestly felt like I was being blessed left and right. I'm so amazing how much stuff I sold. Thank you Jesus! He always provides.
I made enough money to renew my KOA membership so that was awesome! I honestly like staying in hotels but God calls us at times to say in KOA's. Which I'm fine with. I know God has a plan for us where ever we go.
Thanks everyone for reading!
Love & Blessings, Janel
This song is exactly how I feel, now that I know who I am in Christ. Check it out! It's definitely a repeat song:
