Hey, guess what?

Hey, guess what everyone, I got a phone! Woot Woot!

For the past few months I've been going to the public library to use the internet to write my blog and surf the web. Well, I still might do that lol but only difference now is that I have a phone. Praise God! I'm actually at the library now, fun thing. I had a couple of things to print out. Anyway,

this past weekend I went by faith to get a phone. I had applied weeks before for a line of credit through Cricket to get phones. I was doing it by faith since my credit isn't all that great but I knew that God wanted me to apply for it. I knew if got any kind of credit at ALL it was definitely a miracle from God. I got approved moments later after clicking the button and holding my breath. The lady helping me said “your approved enough for 2 phones.” I was happy and somewhat shocked. Here we are a few weeks later and I got a phone in my hands writing this.

I have a couple of things that I want to share. This pass week a friend of mine told me about two vending opportunities. One is next weekend on September 8th, in the city of Redlands. It’s a fundraiser for YouthHope Foundation. It’s is an independent, certified, 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. The organization has build confidence and promote self-sufficiency for homeless, runaway, and at-risk youth, ages 14-24, by providing trust, hope, support, and education. They draw youth to there program by providing hot, nutritious meals Monday through Thursday. Since YouthHope began in 2009, YouthHope has served hot meal to over 3,000 different youth. According to the California Homeless Youth Project, more than 33,000 youth in San Bernardino County are classified as homeless and can be found living on the streets, couch-surfing, or lacking adequate nighttime residence.

I’m really excited about being apart of this fundraiser. I will be sharing a booth with my friend selling our handmade jewelry. This is also an opportunity to get our feet in this city and pray for the people that come out to this event. I know God is going to show up and do amazing things. He always does!

The other event is a fun Holiday fair but it’s not till November. It’s in the city of Hemet. I’ll be sharing more about that event once we get closer to the date. I’m hoping they have some amazing holiday goodies lol.

After having a successful yard sale two weeks ago I am going to do another one on September 9th. I feel really called to put on these yard sales to meet people and pray for them. By faith I’m going to do them with the little that I have, let’s see what God does. I do have my jewelry and I have women, girls, baby and boy clothes. I have a few random things as well like glassware, blankets and scarves. I know it’s not about making money but reaching the peoples hearts and telling them that God loves them. So, if you can please pray for me for these upcoming events that would be great. I would really appreciate it.

Well, I'm just about done with my time here. Off I go. Now I'm off to a thrift store about a block from here.

Blessings, Janel
