The Story behind this cross....

There is a story behind this cross. Last year when we(by WE I'm speaking about Angelina and myself) went on a mission trip to Texas to help the hurricane Harvey victims. We were staying in Beaumont, TX with Operation Blessing for a few weeks. The Lord had spoken to us about doing some traveling north of Beaumont. We prayed over many cities and counties as we when to Plano, TX then head back to Beaumont a different route. Well, on the way back to Beaumont hours of driving through beautiful landscapes, Angelina wanted a donut. We all get cravings sometimes lol I was for it! I couldn't deny a donut in the middle of Texas. She also had a theory that the donuts were bigger in Texas lol. Not sure where she came up with that. Hahaha! As we are driving through these little towns we seen a donut shop. We stopped and we noticed that they had 3 stands of the crosses all around the donut shop. So we grabbed our donut and asked the donut man if he was selling the crosses. He said “no, you can take as much as you want”. We totally scored! We ended up grabbing six of them. We had made some friends at Operation Blessing that we thought would want one too. It was crazy trying to pack them in the car we had rented because it was a little on the small side lol but we got them to fit. We were so happy that we found a donut shop and that we got these awesome crosses. We gave away five of them and brought one home. Angelina recently painted it. You can see a picture of it on her website at: https://artisticgrace5.wixsite.com/angelinap/most-recent-art

I'm in the background playing my guitar. Which I love playing outside. I love being under the sun, playing and singing. Changing the atmosphere  while playing is what I was like to do. I would like to share that all of our mission trips are done by donations. We hear the call from God to go and we go. Sometimes we don't know exactly where we are going or who we are going to meet. We just heard the voice of God and he provides. Sometimes he provides as we go(literally) day by day, even hour by hour. We are just willing vessels ready to be sent out and fulfill the mission he has for us. If you or anyone you may know would like to sow into a missionary ministry you/they can at Paypal.me/Quest4god5 or by mail at: P.O. Box 893722 Temecula, California 92589 For more information about Quest 4 God check out my about page. Love & Blessings, Janel P.s. The donuts are not any bigger than the ones here in California. Sadly🍩
