Texas🤠Trip

This photo was taken back in October 2017 when we went to help the people that were affected by hurricane Harvey. We work alongside with Operation Blessing for two weeks. It was so heartbreaking to see what the people there had been going through. We went into their homes and helped with whatever they need done. Each family was different. There was some that needed their belongings packed. Others needed flooring to be removed, some needed walls remove and some needed all three. The picture of me here was a young couples home. They removed all the inside of the house. It was just the main foundation of the house left. So it was basically stripped. When they removed all the wet stuff they didn't put it in order as FASA wanted it. There's a specific way it had to be laid out in the front of their house. So we were there to help put it in order. I got to see frogs in the pile of wet drywall. Lol That was fun, I'm glad there was no snakes. Hahaha We were there for a few hours helping as much as we could. The couple was very thankful. We had a nice lunch with them and prayed for them. As they were starting a new season in thier lives. We are planning on going back to Texas next month. We are also planning to be apart of Operation Blessing. I have a feeling it might be longer this time. God will direct us. He knows what he wants to accomplish through us there. We want to bring hope and love to them in this time of difficulty just as Jesus would.
